About the Exhibit:

“We the people” is the first word in the constitution but we know “those people” they are talking about are not us! Not the people that help build this country ground up literally and figuratively, Not the people who’s lives were stripped from them and were shipped off to a land unknown to be used and disposed of unknowingly. We Are The People who have shaped and molded this “American Culture” but we intentionally don’t get any credit for it. This exhibit I want to change that systematic narrative of what “Black Culture” is and highlight every aspect of “Black American Culture” the part you don't see on TV or social media. The real America.
